On Thursday, 6/5/2025, at approximately 4:45 PM, officers from the Township of Spring Police Department were dispatched to the First Commonwealth Federal Credit Union located at Cloister Ct and Revere Blvd for a reported bank robbery.

Thanks to a swift response and coordination of patrol units, officers were able to establish a perimeter in an adjoining neighborhood and were able to locate and arrest the actor without incident. The actor was identified as Omar Dickens, a 53-year-old male with a last known address in the 2000 block of North 30th Street in Philadelphia, PA.

All missing funds were accounted for at the time of arrest and Dickens was subsequently charged with Robbery, Theft by Unlawful Taking, and Receiving Stolen Property.

Spring Township Police were assisted in the investigation and search by the Wyomissing Police Department and the Cumru Township Police Department.
