The Penbrook Police Department apprehended 18-year-old Lonnie Peterson, a Harrisburg City resident, following an investigation into a series of burglaries that took place over several weeks.

Between March 14, 2025, and May 1, 2025, Peterson perpetrated five commercial burglaries within Penbrook Borough, causing significant property damage and stealing merchandise valued at several thousand dollars from the affected businesses.

On May 1, 2025, officers executed a search warrant at Peterson's residence, where they discovered burglary tools and stolen items linked to the crimes.

Peterson has been released after posting bail.
