On April 30th, 2025 at approximately 9:00AM the Corning Police Department arrested Wei Zhong Chen for the charges of Assault in the Second Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. The charges stem from an assault report that was filed with the Corning Police Department on April 22nd 2025. Mr. Chen was processed at the Corning Police Department prior to being transported to the Steuben County Jail for CAP arraignment.
