Juvenile Charged in Connection with Gunshot Incident on March 27, 2025
On Thursday, March 27, 2025, at approximately 8:48 p.m., officers from the Lancaster City Bureau of Police responded to the 200 block of Howard Avenue for a report of a gunshot in the area. Officers canvassed the area but did not locate any victims.
The case was assigned to Detective Brandon McCormick for further investigation. As part of the ongoing investigation, on Thursday, April 10, members of the Bureau executed a search warrant at a residence in the 400 block of Rockland Street, where a handgun was recovered.
Following the investigation, a 17-year-old male juvenile was charged with the following offenses:
- Two counts of Aggravated Assault – Indifference to Human Life (F1)
- Two counts of Aggravated Assault – Use of a Deadly Weapon (F2)
- Two counts of Recklessly Endangering Another Person (M2)
- One count of Persons Not to Possess a Firearm (M1)
- One count of Possession of a Firearm by a Minor (M1)
- One count of Firearms Not to be Carried Without a License (F3)
