On March 27, 2025 at approximately 3:08pm, LCRPD officers were dispatched to 815 Maple Lane (North Lebanon Township) for an assault. The investigation revealed that the defendant, Gerald Michael Henning, attacked his brother-in-law with a garden spade after throwing a vacuum cleaner at his sister's head, all over an estate property dispute. Henning fled the scene and was later arrested at his residence in Ephrata after officers obtained an arrest warrant for him.
