On November 14th, 2024 at approximately 5:23 PM, the Lower Allen Township Police Department was dispatched to the intersection of Main Street and Lisburn Road for a multiple vehicle crash. Upon arriving, officers located a driver from one vehicle, who had a severe head injury. EMS arrived and transported the driver to the hospital. The victim had to have numerous facial reconstruction and plastic surgeries due to the severity of the injuries sustained in the crash.
Officers located the other driver, Richard Luedecke, who was found to be under the influence of alcohol. Luedecke was taken to the hospital where he submitted to a blood test.
Officers later received the blood test results which indicated his blood alcohol content was .326%.
Charges were filed, and a warrant was issued for Luedecke's arrest.
Warrant served.
