On 12/07/24 at approximately 0217 hours, a vehicle was observed traveling at a high rate of speed and swerving in the 1200 Block of East Main Street. A traffic stop was initiated with this vehicle and the driver, Ronald Bennett II displayed indications that he was intoxicated. During the course of the investigation it was also discovered that he had marijuana in his possession. Bennett admitted to consuming both alcohol and marijuana prior to being pulled over. As a result of this investigation, it was ultimately found that Bennett was under the influence of both alcohol and marijuana and Bennett was charged with 5 counts of DUI, Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, and Unlawful Activities through the Magisterial District Judge Ditzler's Office.
