Update on Mount Carmel Nursing Home Fire - 01/04/24

As part of our ongoing effort to provide accurate information and alleviate concerns, we would like to address the recent fire incident in Northumberland County at the Mount Carmel Nursing Home. We understand that this incident may have caused concern for our community members who have residents at the nursing and personal care home. 

At approximately 7:42 this morning, a fire occurred on the Personal Rehab Care side of the facility. Fortunately, the Nursing Home side of the facility was not affected. As reported below, we are relieved to report that all patients are accounted for, and we will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.
