TRAFFIC ALERT - Carlisle Street and Eisenhower Drive

An accident that occurred earlier today at the intersection of Carlisle Street and Eisenhower Drive has significantly affected the traffic lights at the intersection. Effective immediate, and until further notice:

-Temporary stop signs have been placed. All traffic approaching the intersection must stop and proceed accordingly when safe to do so(follow the rules for an all-way stop intersection).

- All traffic is being funneled into a single lane approaching the intersection. Traffic must traverse the intersection or make right turns only, no left turns.

- Motorists traveling south on Carlisle Street/Pike wishing to access Eisenhower Drive should turn left onto Wilson Avenue.

- Motorists traveling west on Eisenhower Drive wishing to access State Route 94 North should turn right onto Wilson Avenue.

-Motorists traveling west on Eisenhower Drive wishing to access Carlisle Street should turn left onto Eichelberger Street.

- Motorists wishing to access Carlisle Street from west or access High Street from the south should utilize W. Elm Avenue.

Motorist are encouraged to plan their travels accordingly and avoid the intersection of Carlisle Street and Eisenhower Drive all together, if possible.
