ALICE? What's that?

The Bristol Township Police Department is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive learning environment for students. During the fall, Officer Dob #177, Officer Fedena #217, and Officer Clausen #220 had the pleasure to introduce ALICE training to our students, empowering them to respond appropriately in emergency situations.

ALICE training teaches students simple yet effective strategies to take control of their safety:

  • Alert: Recognizing potential threats and alerting authorities
  • Lockdown: Securing themselves in a safe location
  • Inform: Communicating with authorities and providing vital information
  • Counter: Using creative strategies to distract or disrupt a threat
  • Evacuate: Safely exiting the premises when necessary

By incorporating ALICE training into the curriculum, students are provided with the skills and knowledge necessary to respond appropriately in emergency situations. This training enhances their personal safety, fosters a sense of community, and promotes responsibility among our students.

We're proud to assist with this valuable program to our young students and are committed to creating a safe and supportive environment that allows them to thrive.

Remember, safety is everyone's responsibility!
