On Tuesday August 30, 2016 Vice-Presidential candidate Tim Kaine will pay a visit to Lancaster City. The event will be held at the Boys & Girls club on the 200 blk. W. Lemon St. The event is scheduled to take place at 6:00pm and doors will open at 4:00 for those attending.

Anticipate heavier than normal vehicle and pedestrian traffic in the area of W. Lemon St., N. Prince St., N. Water St., N. Mulberry St., W. Walnut St., N. Queen St., W. James St., and W. Chestnut St. 

There will not be any on-site parking and the location is mainly residential, so on-street parking will be limited. There are multiple parking garages within walking distance of the event. 

The Lancaster City Bureau of Police does not anticipate any street closures, other than when the motorcade is moving to/from the event. 

If you are leaving work or travelling in or around the NW area of the city tomorrow during the event you will want to allow for additional travel time.
