ARRESTS
10/06/24 – DUI, RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT - State Street & Oakland Avenue, Doylestown Borough – Wylie Robin Kochanowicz, F/24 of Kintnersville, PA, was charged with the above offenses following a head-on traffic collision caused by traveling the wrong way down a one-way street. Kochanowicz presented with unsteady gait, slurred speech and odor of alcoholic beverage. Field sobriety tests were failed and Kochanowicz was transported to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood draw. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.
10/08/24 – SIMPLE ASSAULT, HARASSMENT, UNDERAGE DRINKING - 700 E. Butler Avenue (Del Val University), New Britain Borough – Rachel Marie Morris, F/19 of Cream Ridge, NJ, was charged with the above offenses following police response on 09/29/24 to a physical altercation over lost keys. Morris, being underage, was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.
10/10/24 – BURGLARY, CRIMINAL TRESPASS, STALKING, HARASSMENT, THEFT – Sandy Ridge Drive, Doylestown Borough – Jason S. Brown, M/50 of Doylestown, PA, was arrested following police response to a report of burglary. Brown (known to the homeowner) entered the residence without the victim’s permission. Brown gained entry by breaking a latch on the rear sliding door, stole a record player he believed he owned and wrote in the victim’s journal. Brown is accused of continuous harassment, including stalking, and was advised by police in May 2024 and September 2024 to cease all contact. Brown was arraigned, bail set at $150,000 (10%) with conditions and remanded to Bucks County Prison.
10/11/24 – INDECENT ASSAULT, UNLAWFUL USE Of COMPUTER, INVASION OF PRIVACY & HARASSMENT, N. Main Street, Chalfont Borough – Nery Leonardo Vasquez-Pascual, M/39 of Telford, PA, turned himself in on an active Arrest Warrant for the above charges. Vazquez, owner of Leonardo’s Pizza, assaulted the victim (known to Vasquez) when the victim re-entered the restaurant to retrieve their cell phone that was left in the establishment. Vasquez handed the victim the phone at which time he grabbed the victim’s backside and began to aggressively kiss the victim. It was later discovered that Vasquez, while in possession of the victim’s phone, sent text messages from the phone transferring naked pictures of the victim and their partner to his own cell phone. Vasquez was arraigned, bail set at 10% of $20,000 with conditions and released.
10/12/24 – RETAIL THEFT, RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY, 456 N. Main Street (Target), Doylestown Borough - Christopher C. Canup, M/44 of Doylestown, PA, was charged with the above offenses for stealing a bundle trading card pack in the amount of $52.99. Canup allegedly tried to purchase the item by scanning a trading card pack in the amount of $5.99 and did not scan the more expensive bundle pack. Citations have been filed.
10/12/24 – PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS, UNDERAGE DRINKING, Falcon Drive & Cardinal Road, Chalfont Borough – A 17-year-old male was cited with the above offenses when police responded to a large crowd of juveniles congregating on the lawn of a residential property. The juvenile refused to disperse and was uncooperative with police. Citations have been filed.
10/14/24 – BURGLARY – N. Tamenend Avenue, New Britain Borough – A 13-year-old Doylestown male juvenile was arrested on the above charge following an investigation of attempted forced entry into a residential home on 09/29/24. The juvenile kicked the front door of the occupied home several times at 5:30 AM and left the property. The front door jamb damage is estimated at $1,692. A Juvenile Allegation has been filed.
10/17/24 – ARREST WARRANT ISSUED – FRAUD – Doylestown Borough - An Arrest Warrant has been issued for Elaine Rose Grauel, F/53 of Doylestown, PA. Grauel wrote three bad checks totaling $10,500 for back rent.
10/18/24 – CRIMINAL MISCHIEF, CRIMINAL TRESPASS, DISORDERLY – Pawnee Road, New Britain Borough – A 13-year-old male juvenile of Doylestown, PA, was charged with the above offenses following an investigation of someone throwing a brick at the front door of a residence on 09/29/24. A Juvenile Allegation has been filed.
10/25/24 - INDECENT EXPOSURE, S. Main Street, Doylestown Borough - Richard Azael Martinez, Jr., M/43 of Staten Island, NY was charged with the above offense when police responded to a male subject exposing his private parts at passing cars on S. Main Street. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.
10/26/24 – DISORDERLY CONDUCT, S. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Robert J. Sakmary, M/67 of North Wales, PA, was cited for the above offense when police responded to a male subject laying on the sidewalk, intoxicated and yelling. A Citation has been filed.
10/27/24 – DISORDERLY CONDUCT, W. State Street, Doylestown Borough – Alonzo Alfredo Tzaj, M/26 of Hatfield, PA, was cited for urinating in public. A Citation has been filed.
10/29/24 – SIMPLE ASSAULT, HARASSMENT, DISORDERLY CONDUCT – 80 West State Street (Penn Tap Room), Doylestown Borough - Diana M. Phinney, F/67 of Doylestown, PA, was charged with the above offenses following police response to a physical altercation at the establishment on 10/17/24. Phinney was involved in a verbal altercation and grabbed the victim’s arm causing the victim to fall and hit their head. The victim was taken to Abington Hospital for medical attention. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.
10/29/24 – ORDINANCE VIOLATION AND TRAFFIC CITATIONS, S. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Stephanie Jones, F/34 of Philadelphia, PA was cited for possession of marijuana and traffic violations when police conducted a traffic stop for suspended registration. Citations have been filed.
10/30/24 – THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING, RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY, 200 Town Center, New Britain Borough - James Marvel, M/23 of New Britain, PA, was charged with the above offenses following investigation of the employee of the Giant Food Store for stealing cash from the register on several occasions totaling $507. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.
10/31/24 – ROBBERY, TERRORISTIC THREATS, RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY, POSSESSION OF WEAPON & OTHER OFFENSES, 115 W. Court Street (Wells Fargo Bank), Doylestown Borough – Khalil William Butler, M/30 of Sellersville, PA, was charged with the above offenses following police response to a bank robbery. Butler stole $32,000 US currency from the financial institution and fled on a bicycle. A short time later he was taken into custody, arraigned, bail set at 10% of $1,000,000 and remanded to Bucks County Prison.
Criminal charges, and any discussion thereof, are merely allegations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

10/01/24 – THEFT – 625 N. Main Street (Pocos Restaurant), Doylestown Borough – Unknown person stole two plants from the property and stolen tools from a truck.
10/10/24 – CRIMINAL MISCHIEF TO BUSINESS - E. State Street, Doylestown Borough – Unknown persons(s) broke four wooden business signs.
10/10/24 – THEFT – W. Court Street, Doylestown Borough – Uknown person(s) stole a delivered UPS package from a resident’s front porch.
10/11/24 – THEFT – W. State Street, Doylestown Borough – Unknown person(s) stole a motorized scooter parked outside of a business.
10/17/24 – THEFT – W. Oakland Avenue, Doylestown Borough – Unknown person(s) stole money from a tip jar.
10/22/24 – THEFT – W. Butler Avenue & Lenape Drive, New Britain Borough – Uknown person(s) stole numerous political signs.
10/27/24 – CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 10 Doyle Street, Doylestown Borough – Unknown person(s) tagged public park items with racial slurs and graffiti.
10/29/24 – THEFT – 205 Butler Avenue (El Limon), Chalfont Borough – Uknown person ordered, consumed a meal and left without paying.
