Ligonier, PA -- Thousands of visitors descended onto the Diamond of Ligonier Borough for Fort Ligonier Days over the weekend. 

The festival kicked off Friday and ran through Sunday, October 14, 2024. 

The popular fall festival drew thousands of people who shopped at various vendor booths, listened to live music and enjoyed the fall foliage. 

The festival, itself, is derived from the town's history of Fort Ligonier and the pivotal role it played in the French and Indian War, paying tribute with a weekend full of reenactments and tours. 

District Attorney Nicole W. Ziccarelli thanks all of the organizers, vendors, patrons, police and first responders who make this event so successful for Westmoreland County, while maintaining public safety.
