Hiring Now Open - Accepting Applications for Entry Level Police Officer

The Manheim Borough Civil Service Commission will begin hiring in December 2025, accepting applications for two additional police officers through January 2026. 

CSC will be accepting applications from qualified candidates with or without Act 120 certification who meet the minimal requirements.

Minimum Age: 21 years old before the deadline for submitting applications.

Diploma or GED | United States citizen | good moral character | be physically and mentally fit to perform the complete duties of a police officer 

Possess a valid PA motor vehicle operator's license prior to appointment.

Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications for certification established by the Municipal Police Officers' Education and Training Commission (MPOETC) as set forth in 53 Pa. C.S.A § 2161 et seq. at the time of examination.
