On 29 August 2024 at 0409Hrs., East Lampeter Township Police responded to the 2200 block of Lincoln Highway East for a report of a pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle. Investigation revealed that an adult male victim was struck in the eastbound lanes of the roadway. The striking vehicle failed to stop and fled the scene. The male victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.      UPDATE: We have identified a vehicle of interest in this investigation and have interviewed the driver of this vehicle. Investigation is on-going and it is believed that the victim may have been struck by one or more vehicles after the initial crash.
