Bell Township, PA -- Pennsylvania State Police charged a Murrysville woman with robbery, theft, disorderly conduct and drug-related charges for causing a disturbance on a Westmoreland Transit bus in Bell Township.
Police responded to the area of 1936 State Route 286 on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 for a reported fight.
Troopers found Lindsay Johnson, 40, in the driver's seat of the Westmoreland Transit bus.
The victim told police he picked up Johnson at her residence and related to officers that she was acting odd.
The victim arrived at his next scheduled stop and claimed that Johnson accused him of taking her belongings and attempted to pull his sweatshirt off.
When the victim exited the bus, Johnson allegedly followed and jumped on the victim, hitting him several times and grabbed the bus keys.
After being taken into custody, Johnson fell asleep in the back of a patrol car and had to be evaluated by medical personnel.
Troopers said Johnson had four grams of methamphetamine on her at the time of her arrest.
She was arraigned and remanded to the Westmoreland County Prison on $25,000 bail.
