On 18 July 2016 a warrant was issued for Jonathan Joseph Cameron. Cameron was charged with Criminal Attempt Homicide & Aggravated Assault. This was the result of a stabbing that occurred in the area of Lennox Lane & E. Grant St. on Sunday 17 July 2016. 

On 18 July 2016 a tip was received that Cameron was going to be in a vehicle in the SW area of Lancaster City. Officers and Detectives from Lancaster City Bureau of Police acted on that tip and established surveillance in the area specified in the tip. At approximately 1700 hrs., a vehicle matching the description provided was spotted and followed. The driver of the vehicle committed a moving violation and a traffic stop was initiated on the 1st blk. E. Vine St. Cameron was located as a passenger in the vehicle. He was taken into custody on the warrant without incident. 

Cameron was later arraigned by MDJ Bixler and comitted to LCP in lieu of $1,000,000 bail. 

All persons accussed of a crime are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
