Warminster Township Police Dept -Arrests and Notable Incidents Blotter: July 2024
WT-24-06415 -Police Officers were dispatched to Tierny Auto Sales/Hertz Rental for a report of 3 suspicious juvenile males in the area. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the individuals had attempted to steal a 2011 Hyundai Sonata. All 3 Juveniles will be charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking and Receiving Stolen Property.
WT-24-07831 -An Officer was on patrol and observed a traffic violation upon stopping the driver for that violation and giving the driver a field sobriety test it was determined that the driver was intoxicated. The 32-year-old male was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and cited for a red-light violation.
WT-24-07957 - An Officer on patrol in Warminster Heights had advised an individual numerous times that setting off fireworks was prohibited and after continuing to set them off the Officer advised the 25-year-old male that he would be cited for Unlawful use of Consumer Fireworks.
WT-24-07906 - The complainant came to Police Headquarters to report that she had filed a Protection from Abuse and that the 42-year-old male had violated the Protection from Abuse by sending her emails. A warrant was issued for the male.
WT-24-04239 - Officers responded to Street and Norristown Roads for a report of an accident and a female's body in the roadway. The female was a passenger on a motorcycle and the driver had fled on foot. The female was transported to Abington Hospital. Through an investigation it was determined that the driver of the motorcycle was driving with a suspended driver's license. When the driver a 29-year-old male was located at the hospital it was also determined that he was wearing a PA Adult Probation court-ordered electronic monitoring bracelet. The male has been charged with Aggravated Assault by vehicle and numerous other charges as well as Probation Violations.
WT-24-08133 - Police were dispatched to Rey Azteca for a report of an intoxicated male. When Officer's arrived, the male was sitting in his vehicle. Officers requested the male get out of his car, and the subject exited his vehicle and fell to the ground. Officers helped the 29-year-old male up to his feet and into his mother's vehicle to be transported home. The male was cited for Public Drunkenness and Disorderly Conduct.
WT-24-08141 - Officers responded to Wawa at 10 Davisville Road. A female complainant advised that she went into the Wawa and when she returned to her car, she found a lit cigarette on her front passenger seat. She went back inside the store and asked the Manager to review video surveillance footage. An employee obtained the license plate of the Actor. When Officers spoke to the 67-year-old male he advised that she parked in the handicapped spot. The male was cited for Criminal Mischief and Disorderly Conduct.
WT-24-08543 - An Officer noticed a vehicle into a pole on Madison Avenue. Upon stopping to speak to the individual, the Officer believed the 32-year-old male was driving under the influence. The male failed a field sobriety test and was transported to Abington Hospital for blood analysis. It was determined that the male was Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. The male was cited for DUI, Careless Driving and Safe Speed violations.
WT-24-08573 - Police responded to Warminster Community Park for a report of a male passed out in a running vehicle. Upon arrival Officers saw a man with his head on the steering wheel and open containers in the vehicle. The male failed a field sobriety test and was transported to Doylestown Hospital for blood analysis. Enroute to the hospital the male attempted to remove the handcuffs and had injured his wrists. It was determined that the male was under the Influence of Alcohol. The 44-year-old male was cited for DUI -General Impairment, and DUI -Highest Rate of Alcohol.
WT-24-08657 - An Officer cited a 42-year-old female for Retention of Library Property after a Notice to Return. The Female subject was notified numerous times to return the items.
WT-24-08658 - An Officer cited a 40-year-old female for Retention of Library Property after a Notice to Return. The Female subject was notified numerous times to return the items.
WT-24-08659 - An Officer cited a 62-year-old female for Retention of Library Property after a Notice to Return. The Female subject was notified numerous times to return the items.
WT-24-08733 - Officers observed an accident at Street and York Roads. Upon speaking with a driver, Officers believed that he may be Under the Influence of Drugs or Alcohol. After the 65-year-old male failed a field sobriety test he was transported to Doylestown Hospital for blood analysis. It was determined that the male was under the Influence of Alcohol. The Driver was cited for DUI, Failure to Drive Within Lane, and Careless Driving.
WT-24-24-08770 - Officers responded to The Glen at Bucks for report of a Hit and Run Accident. The male reported that a woman stopped on the roadway in traffic, and he rear ended her on Street Road. The 42-year-old female got out of her vehicle with a machete in her hand and stated she was going to hurt or kill the driver. The driver was afraid for his life, he drove home and called the Police. The Female will be cited for Disorderly Conduct and Harassment.
WT-24-08871 - Officers were dispatched to Aspen Grove Apartments on Street Road for a report of a fight. When the Officers arrived half of the individuals had left the area in a vehicle. The group described a vehicle where one of the occupants got out and physically hit one of the girls. Officers stopped a vehicle that fit the description, and a 19-year-old female was cited for Harassment and Disorderly Conduct.
WT-24-08937 - Police were dispatched to Walgreens for a report of a Retail Theft in progress. The male had committed numerous Retail Thefts at this location. A description was given via Bucks County Radio and Hatboro Police advised they were out with a 31-year-old male who had a Walgreens shopping basket full of merchandise. The subject was transported to police headquarters process and arraigned before Judge Snow. Bail was set at $5,000 and the male was transported to Bucks County Prison.
WT-24-05073 - Officers were dispatched to the Sunoco at 40 East Street Road for a report of a hit-and-run accident. Upon arrival, they spoke to a male who advised that a white truck had stuck in his vehicle and left the scene. A Witness pulled into the parking lot of the Sunoco and advised Officers that he had obtained a License plate number from the striking vehicle. An Officer contacted the 56-year-old male driver who left the scene. He will be cited for Accident Involving Property Damage, Accident with Failure to Render Aid, Careless Driving, and Driving Under Suspension.
WT-24-02656 - Police responded to Planet Fitness on Street Road. A Female advised that her wallet was stolen from her locker. The female advised that she had gotten notification from her Credit Card Company that the card had been numerous times within Warminster Township. After contacting Planet Fitness to locate video surveillance footage, it was determined that a 46-year-old female had stolen the wallet. The 46-year-old female will be cited for Theft by Unlawful Taking, Receiving Stolen Property and Access Device Fraud.
WT-24-03868 - Officers were dispatched to the LUV Carwash on Street Road, for a well-being check. Officers located a male in a running vehicle passed out with his head on the steering wheel. The vehicle was in the reverse position with the backup lights on. When the Officer woke the 32-year-old male he was advised to put the vehicle in park. It was noted by the Officer that the male had drug paraphernalia on his lap. The male also advised that he had narcotics under the front seat. The Male was cited for possession of Counterfeit Substance and Possession of Paraphernalia. He was later released to his Wife.
