The Palmer Township Police Department has added a newly created position to their ranks. 

In addition to our Patrol officers, Criminal Investigators and other specialty units, your Palmer Township Police Department has added another resource for our community, we are pleased to introduce you to our new Community Affairs Officer.

Meet Sergeant Tyson Unangst.  “Sergeant Ty” will oversee all that is Public Relations oriented.

“Sergeant Ty” has an extensive law enforcement background, currently serving 18 years as a Palmer Township Police officer with over 6 years prior experience in a neighboring municipality before to coming to us.

Sergeant Ty is available for Community and group functions, for any speaking engagements or to answer questions.

You will see him shortly hosting future Events such as:

Camp Cadet 2025

National Night Out 2025

Initiating additional programs, beginning with a Township wide Neighborhood Watch Program.
