Assist Other Police Department (K-9)
Patrol (K-9 Unit) assisted Newtown Borough Police Department with an incident that they were handling from their jurisdiction.
Fraud
Complainant came into police headquarters to report that they had mailed out a check in June from their home. In checking, they found that the check had been altered and they were missing the funds from their account. Information gathered and forwarded to Detectives.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to a parking lot in the 800blk of 2nd Street Pike for a traffic accident. Unit # 1 was exiting a parking space when it made contact with unit # 2 which was legally parked. Tow was not required.

Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to the intersection of Worthington Mill Road and Twining Road for a traffic accident. Unit # 1 entered onto Worthington Mill Road from Twining Road when it made contact with unit # 2. Unit # 2 was traveling eastbound on Worthington Mill Road. Duty tow was not required.
Fraud
Complainant reported that they mailed out a check from their home. In checking their accounts, they found that someone had altered the check. The funds were taken out of the complainant’s account, and they were in contact with the bank. Information was gathered and forwarded to Detectives.
Community Relations
Officers spoke to children at a local business in regard to summer safety.

Vehicle Lockout
Patrol responded to a parking lot in the 800blk of 2nd Street pike for a vehicle lockout. Once on location, contact was made with the vehicle owner. Patrol was able to gain entry into the vehicle.

Road Hazard
Complainant reports that an object on Elm Avenue caused damage to their vehicle. Patrol checked and located the object was located and removed from the roadway.

Theft from Vehicle
Complainant reported that sometime overnight, an unknown individual entered their vehicle on Hilltop Drive and took items. Information was gathered and this report was forwarded to Detectives.
Wires Down
Patrol observed a wire on the roadway which came off from a utility pole. The wire was removed from the roadway and Verizon was notified.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to the area of Jacksonville Road and Gwyn Lynn Drive. Unit # 1 was traveling on Gwyn Lynn Drive and had stopped for the stop sign. Unit # 1 then turned onto Jacksonville Road where it made contact with unit # 2. Unit # 2 was traveling southbound on Jacksonville Road. Tow was required.

Patrol (K-9 Unit) assisted Warminster Township Police Department for an incident that occurred in their jurisdiction.
Lost Property
Complainant approached patrol to report that they had left their phone on top of their vehicle when they left a near-by business. Patrol checked the area and was able to location the phone. Property was returned to the owner.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to a parking lot in the 1000blk of Hatboro Road for a traffic accident. Unit # 1 was backing out from a parking spot when it made contact with unit # 2 which was driving past. Tow was not required.

Water Main Leak
Patrol responded to Yale Drive for the report of water coming up from the roadway. Once on location, patrol observed the water and the Northampton Township Water Authority responded to the scene. Matter turned over to the Northampton Township Water Authority.
