Police Log 6/27/16

THEFT

1700 FRUITVILLE PIKE / BARNES AND NOBLE BOOKS

OCCURRED 6/24/12016 1509 HRS

Victim reported that while in the café area of the location she had placed her purse on the back of her chair and left it unattended for a period of time. When she returned to her seat she noticed that her wallet had been taken from her purse. The victim was later notified that her credit card had been used to make a fraudulent purchase at another store. 

RETAIL THEFT / ACCENT-Z

278 PARK CITY CTR

OCCURRED 6/124/2016 1836 HRS

Noah Ahmed Abedella, 19 of the 3000 block Elm St Harrisburg PA was arrested and charged with Retail Theft when he was observed concealing several items of clothing on his person and left the location without paying for the merchandise. 

THEFT

200 BLK W STRAWBERRY ST

OCCURRED 6/24/2016  BETWEEN 0000 HRS AND 0500 HRS

An unknown suspect gained entry to a residence at the location and stole a black backpack which contained clothing, a DVD, toiletries and various medication, and a call phone while the victim was sleeping. 

RETAIL THEFT

1135 PARK CITY CENTER / KOHL’S DEPARTMENT STORE

OCCURRED 6/25/2016 1914 HRS

Chasidy Culley, 36, of the 100 block S Bridge St, Christiana PA was arrested and charged with Retail Theft when she pushed a shopping cart full of merchandise outside the entrance of the store passing all points of sale without paying for these items and emptied the merchandise into her vehicle.

100 N DUKE ST

OCCURRED 6/25/2016 1703 HRS

Reporting Person stated that his cell phone was taken from the Lancaster Public Library’s computer area. 

SHOTS FIRED

1ST BLK GREEN ST

OCCURRED 6/26/2016 0230 HRS

Officers responded to a Shots Fired call and found Dennis Joel Echevarria-Cedena, 25, of the 1st block Green Street, Lancaster causing a disturbance in the area. Echevarria-Cedeno had to be physically restrained and was cited with Disorderly Conduct.  Officers found no evidence of shots being fired. 

ROBBERY

200 BLK CONESTOGA ST

OCCURRED 6/26/2016 0421 HRS

Victim stated that he was walking with his girlfriend in the 200 block of Conestoga Street when a vehicle approached them. Three suspects jumped out of the vehicle and threatened the victim. As victim's girlfriend tried to call the police one suspect grabbed her phone. All three suspects got back into the vehicle and fled the scene heading north on E. Filbert Street. Two of the suspects were described as black males between 18 -20 years of age.  

THEFT

25 S QUEEN ST

OCCURRED 6/27/2016 0010 HRS

Victim stated that two Hispanic males, 18 – 21 years of age offered to take a picture of her and her friend. Victim gave one of the males her phone to take the picture. One of the males placed the girls' purses to the side of the fountain while taking their picture. After the pictures were taken the males returned the phone and left the scene, riding bicycles south on Queen St. When the girls went to retrieve their purses they were gone.
