On May 24, 2024, at approximately 1220 hours, the Pocono Township Police Department responded to the area of SR0611 by the Knight Lodge to check on a female slumped over on the side of the road.  Upon arrival officers located Jeanine Cleirbaut who initially would not provide her information, however one officer had previous contacts with Cleirbaut.  Cleirbaut was found to have multiple warrants out of Monroe and Lackawanna Counties.  Additionally, Cleirbaut had an active warrant out of New Jersey.  A search incident to arrest yielded heroin and associated paraphernalia.  Cleirbaut was lodged in Monroe County on her warrants.  Charges filed for possession and paraphernalia.
