On May 15, 2024 the New Cumberland Police Department were dispatched for a victim asking for ''help'' via text message.  Although the victim's location was unknown, NCPD worked with urgency to find her.  The victim was located and she disclosed that she was struck in the face and assaulted by Braden King.  After striking the victim and causing her to bleed, King began to pull the victim's clothes off without her consent.  Around this time, police arrived on scene and were able to halt King's nefarious acts. After an investigation, King was placed in custody and transported to the Cumberland County Booking Center for a Process and Arraignment.  King is charged with (1) count of Simple Assault (2701 a1); (1) count of Indecent Assault (3126 a1); and (1) count of Harassment (2709 a1).
