The Susquehanna Township Police Department would like to express its sincere gratitude for the agencies, organizations, and individuals who dedicated their time and energy in the search for homicide victim Tracy Scanlon, also known as Tracy Zalenski, on May 3, 2024, in York County. Participants used every piece of technology and equipment at their disposal, as well as sheer willpower, to scour the land, water and air for any sign of Tracy.
Over the course of nearly seven hours, the 100 men and women covered about 10 miles of the Little Conewago and Conewago creeks, beginning in Conewago Township and ending in York Haven. Although the search that day did not conclude with a definitive discovery, it will continue in the days and weeks to come. Susquehanna Township Police are committed to solving Tracy’s homicide, prosecuting a suspect(s) and finding her body, in hopes of bringing some semblance of respite to her family.
