The Lancaster County Drug Task Force (LCDTF) recently arrested an East Cocalico man in possession of 259 grams of methamphetamine and various illegal narcotics on April 11, 2024.
Chene Skowronek, 44 of the 2100 block of Kramer Mill Road, Stevens, was charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, cocaine, and clonazepam, and possession of drug paraphernalia following a search warrant executed at his residence.
The LCDTF began investigating Skowronek for selling methamphetamine in December 2023 and made multiple undercover/confidential informant purchases using pre-recorded money from the defendant through April 2024.
The East Cocalico Township Police Department stopped Skowronek in the 1800 block of N. Reading Road at approximately 5:00 p.m. on April 11, 2024, with the defendant in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine and placed under arrest.
A subsequent search warrant by the LCDTF and East Cocalico Township Police Department was executed on Skowronek’s residence revealing:
-259 grams of methamphetamine
-14 grams of cocaine
-67 clonazepam pills
-various drug paraphernalia
-3 handguns
-5 rifles
-a ballistic vest
-$525.00 in U.S. currency
Skowronek posted $50,000.00 monetary bail on April 16.
All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
