On February 1, 2024, Tyrell Weaver, 41, of Harrisburg crashed a Uhaul truck into three vehicles and a house.  It was later determined Weaver was under the combined influence of PCP, methamphetamine, and marijuana.  Based upon video obtained during this investigation, it is now believed Mr. Weaver intentionally caused these crashes.  

Just a week later, on February 8, 2024, Penbrook Officers took a report of a crash in the 2400 block of Walnut Street.  Upon arrival, it was determined a car had crashed into another car and three houses.  Tyrell Weaver was the driver of this vehicle and was ejected from the car when it rolled over.  Mr. Weaver was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.  No other people were injured.  It is believed Mr. Weaver was again under the influence of controlled substances.  

On February 16, 2024, Tyrell Weaver was released from the hospital.  Our officers took him into custody upon his release.  Mr. Weaver was arraigned and is currently in Dauphin County Prison.  Charges against Weaver include several counts of Aggravated Assault by vehicle while DUI, criminal mischief, DUI, recklessly endangering another person, and many traffic offenses.
