On October 23rd, 2023, at approximately 1647 hours, Officers were on an unrelated motor vehicle stop in the area of the Fidelity Bank located at 44 S. Broad Street when an employee of the bank informed police a male who exited the bank moments prior was involved in fraudulent activity and was now in a white Chevrolet bearing Pennsylvania temporary registration XP792108. Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on the Chevrolet and made contact with this male. Officers were then provided a fraudulent driver's license, a master card, and a fraudulent check in the amount of $3,446.79 in the victim's name from bank staff. While officers were speaking with this male, he fled the vehicle stop driving recklessly, committing multiple traffic violations. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle until it was determined attempting to stop the vehicle was putting innocent lives at risk. The Nazareth Borough Police Department has an active arrest warrant for this male.
