Police were dispatched to Gianni’s Pizza in Chalfont Borough on December 12, 2023 at approximately 12:05 AM after the owner was alerted to a male inside the closed restaurant. Police found Walter Wright, M/45, no fixed abode, in the restaurant's kitchen. The establishment was in complete disarray with food, drink and trash scattered throughout. Following review of surveillance footage, it was determined Wright entered the store through the front door during the early evening hours of December 11, 2023. Wright was arraigned, bail set and remanded to Bucks County Prison. Criminal charges, and any discussion thereof, are merely allegations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
