On November 17th, 2023, at approximately 2150 hours, an officer observed a motor vehicle violation and conducted a traffic stop. During the traffic stop, the officer obtained probable cause a controlled substance was within the vehicle. While conducting a search of the vehicle, the officer located a firearm. This male did not possess a concealed carry weapons permit. Also during the search, the officer located drug paraphernalia. This male was subsequently taken into custody and charged.
