DUI Arrest
While on patrol, officers located a vehicle with the driver slumped over the steering wheel. Through investigation, the driver was arrested for suspicion of DUI. They were transported to headquarters processed and released to a family friend.
Theft from Vehicle
Complainant came into headquarters to report a theft from their vehicle. Complainant states that they left their purse in an unlocked vehicle the evening before and when they entered their vehicle this morning nothing seemed missing, however, as they started their day, they realized that their cash and credit cards were gone. Complainant notified all of their credit card companies and banks of the theft.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Jacksonville Road for a one vehicle accident. Complainant states they were traveling on Jacksonville Road when a deer ran into the roadway. They were unable to avoid hitting the deer and contact was made. The vehicle sustained significant damage and was towed from the scene.
10-24-23
Found Property
Complainant came into headquarters to turn in an ATM card found on Newtown-Richboro Road. Patrol was able to identify the owner and it was found that the card had been reported stolen. The owner had already closed the account.
Theft from Vehicle
Complainant came into headquarters to report a theft from vehicle. Complainant states that they were at the Northampton Municipal Park and had left their vehicle unlocked while they were in the park. Someone entered the vehicle and stole Complainant’s purse with their wallet in it. Complainant received notification from their bank that the cards had been used and a fraud alert had been issued. Complainant cancelled all of their cards. Patrol is looking into surveillance cameras in the area.
Suspicious Vehicle
Patrol responded to Bustleton Pike for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Complainant states that a vehicle was parked on their front lawn. The sister of the vehicle owner was on scene and indicated that the vehicle owner had transmission trouble earlier in the day. It appeared that the vehicle had rolled out of their driveway, across Bustleton Pike and onto the complainant’s property. Vehicle owner reported that they would have it moved.

Fire
Patrol responded to Pulinski Road for a report of a fire in a manufacturing plant. Upon arrival, the fire was contained to a small area in the back of the plant. Complainant suffered burns while extinguishing the fire and was taken to the hospital. The fire began to reignite and was extinguished by responding fire departments.
Theft
Patrol responded to Windy Knoll Drive for a report of a stolen package. Complainant states that they had a package delivered between 10/17/23 and 10/18/23 which was stolen. Complainant was not going to report this theft but read about the uptick in mail thefts and wanted to report it now. A check was made for area surveillance cameras.
DUI Arrest
While on patrol on East Bristol Road and Bustleton Pike, Officers pulled over a vehicle for a traffic violation. Through investigation, the driver was arrested for suspicion of DUI, transported to headquarters, processed and released to family.
Fraud
Complainant came into headquarters to report a fraud. Complainant states they received a text from their bank asking them to fill out a survey from their experience at a Syracuse NY branch. Complainant thought that this was suspicious and contacted their bank only to find out that someone had visited two different branches in Syracuse NY and made three different withdrawals from Complainant’s account. Complainant’s bank has started a fraud investigation. Case referred to detectives.

Juvenile Problem
Patrol responded to the Northampton Municipal Park for a report of Juveniles climbing onto the canopies. On scene, Officers made contact with two juveniles who admitted to trying to climb on the canopies. They were advised not to do that again and their parents were contacted.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Council Rock Drive for a report of a one-vehicle accident. Complainant states that they were making a delivery and had parked their vehicle with the emergency brake on. While making the delivery, someone yelled that their vehicle was rolling down the driveway. Complainant attempted to stop the vehicle from rolling but was unable to get back into the vehicle. The vehicle struck a wall and came to a stop. The vehicle sustained minor damage and there was property damage to the building.

Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to 2nd Street Pike for the report of a one-vehicle accident. Complainant states they were driving on 2nd Street Pike when a deer entered the roadway. Complainant was unable to avoid the deer and contact was made. The vehicle sustained damage but did not require a tow.
Civil Disturbance
Patrol responded to a call on Newtown-Richboro Road for a harassment complaint. Complainant states that while refereeing a game an individual started yelling at the opposing team’s coach. The referee asked them to stop their actions and the individual said they would see them in parking lot after the game. While walking to their car, the referee saw the individual in question and called police as a precaution. The individual did not threaten the referee and was just upset at how the opposing coach had acted throughout the game.
Burglary
Patrol responded to Renee Circle for a report of a burglary. Complainant states that when they returned home, their door was shattered, and the home had been ransacked. The scene was processed for evidence. Case is being handled by detectives.
DUI Arrest
While on patrol on East Bristol Road, officers stopped a vehicle for multiple violations. Through investigation, the driver was arrested for suspicion of DUI, taken back to headquarters, processed and released to a family member.
10-28-23
Hit & Run
Patrol responded to New Road for a report of a hit and run. Complainant states that sometime overnight someone struck their stone light pillar, destroying it. There were tire tracks in the area. A check was made for surveillance cameras in the area.
Fire
Patrol responded to Almshouse Road for a report of white smoke coming from the area. Northampton Township Fire Department arrived on scene, and it was determined that the smoke was coming from a vehicle and the fire company had it under control.
10-29-23
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Chinquapin Road for a one-vehicle accident. Complainant states that they lost control of their vehicle while navigating an “S” turn in the roadway. The vehicle went off the road and hit a tree and overgrown weeds. The vehicle was towed from the scene. There were no injuries reported.
Juvenile Problem
Patrol responded to Middle Holland Road for a report of juveniles playing in the creek. The Complainant was concerned for the juveniles’ safety in the water. Patrol located the juveniles, who indicated they were looking for fish. A parent was called, and the juveniles left with the parent.
