ARRESTS

Public Drunkenness, September 3, 2023, N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Nolan Clements, M/26, of Perkasie, PA, was cited for the above offense after police responded to a well-being check for a male lying on the sidewalk. Clements was transported to Doylestown Hospital for evaluation. A Citation has been filed.

Harassment, September 3, 2023, Veterans Lane, Doylestown Borough – Francis Barrila Jr., M/56, of Doylestown, PA, was cited for the above offense after police were called for a disorderly person. Barrila had approached a customer sitting outside, proceeded to yell and smack the customer. A Citation has been filed.

Disorderly Conduct, September 4, 2023, N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Rhys Simmons, M/23, of Warminster, PA, was cited after being observed urinating in public. A Citation has been filed.

Ordinance Violation, September 4, 2023, S. Chubb Drive, Doylestown Borough – Bryce Schmidt, M/21, of Doylestown, PA, was cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana after police investigated a suspicious parked vehicle. A Citation has been filed.

Theft/Receiving Stolen Property/Identity Theft, September 5, 2023, W. Butler Avenue, Chalfont Borough - Justene Lee Gugumuck, F/41, of Chester, VA, was arrested on the above charges following an investigation that began in March 2023. Gugumuck was an employee of SWAT Pest Control, located in Chalfont, handling payroll responsibilities from 2018 to 2022. Gugumuck allegedly fabricated overtime records resulting in fraudulent payments to herself in excess of $132,000. Gugumuck surrendered to police on September 5, 2023, and was arraigned with bail set at $100,000 unsecured with conditions.

Disorderly Conduct, September 7, 2023, N. Main Street (Citizen’s Bank), Doylestown Borough – Barry Cusick, M/64, of Onondaga, NY, was cited for the above offense after police were called for a disorderly individual. While speaking with Cusick outside, he proceeded to urinate in public. A Citation has been filed.

DUI, September 7, 2023, E. Butler Avenue, New Britain Borough – Tiarra Thomas, F/28, of Philadelphia, PA, was arrested for the above offense following a traffic stop for not proceeding at a green light. Thomas remained stopped at the green light for an extended period of time resulting in a backup of traffic. Thomas presented with a strong odor of alcohol, failed field sobriety tests and was transported to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood draw. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.

Counterfeit Registration Plate, September 7, 2023, Chalfont Borough – Ricardo Amastal-Coyotecatl, M/19 of Philadelphia, and owner of the vehicle, was charged on the above offense, in addition to several summary offenses for invalid inspection stickers and unable to provide proof of insurance following a traffic stop for a suspicious registration plate. The vehicle was being driven by another person at the time. An Arrest Warrant was issued for Amastal-Coyotecatl who turned himself in. Amastal-Coyotecatl was arraigned with bail set at $5,000 unsecured.

DUI, September 8, 2023, E. Butler Avenue, New Britain Borough – Amanda Willard, F/41, of New Britain, PA, was arrested for the above offense after police responded to a one-vehicle accident which resulted in the vehicle hitting a pole and catching on fire. Willard presented with a very strong odor of alcohol and slurred speech. Willard was transported to Doylestown Hospital for medical assistance. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.

Disorderly Conduct, September 10, 2023, Dommel Way, Doylestown Borough – Hector Pagan, M/51, of Warminster, PA, was cited after being observed urinating in public. A Citation has been filed.

Disorderly Conduct, September 10, 2023, N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Nicholas Koch, M/21, of Lansdale, PA, was cited after being observed urinating in public. A Citation has been filed.

Disorderly Conduct, September 10, 2023, W. State Street, Doylestown Borough – Gavin McGourney, M/21, of Palm, PA, and Joseph Wall, M/21, of Pennsburg, PA, were cited for the above offense when Officers observed the pair ripping “No Parking” signs from parking meters. Citations have been filed.

Harassment/Disorderly Conduct, September 10, 2023, S. Clinton Street, Doylestown Borough – Daniel Sawi, M/34, of Philadelphia, PA, was cited for the above offense after several complaints that he was harassing people at the Arts Festival. Citations have been filed.

Theft, September 12, 2023, N. Main Street (ACME), Doylestown Borough - Keith Matteson, M/57, of Doylestown, PA, was cited for the above offense after he took two alcoholic beverages from Acme, valued at $50.00, and placed them in his pockets before leaving the store.  A Citation has been filed.

Drug Violation, September 15, 2023, Town Center, New Britain Borough – Treasure Kyle Williams, M/21, of Wilmington, DE, was charged with the above offense following police dispatch for a parking complaint. When Officers approached the vehicle, Williams was observed lighting a marijuana cigarette. Consent to search the vehicle revealed a bag of marijuana. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.

Public Drunkenness, September 19, 2023, 800 Town Center (Old School Burgers), New Britain Borough – Mario Alejandro Marrerro, M/32 of Chalfont, PA; Acacia Olivia Cruz-Simpson, F/25 of Chalfont, PA; and, Vanessa Genovese, F/29 of Chalfont, PA, were charged with the above offense following an altercation among employees. Marrerro was also charged with Disorderly Conduct. Citations have been filed.

DUI, Fleeing Officer, and 11 Other Charges, September 24, 2023, Hamilton Street & Oakland Avenue, Doylestown Borough – William Otto Callum, M/20 of Chalfont, PA, was arrested for the above offense following an attempted traffic stop for erratic driving including high rate of speed. Officers called off the pursuit in the interest of safety. Shortly later, Callum turned himself in to Officers at a parking lot in Doylestown Borough. Field sobriety tests were administered and legal blood draw was obtained at Doylestown Hospital. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.

Drug Violation and Other Summary Charges, September 27, 2023, E. Butler Avenue & Bristol Road, Chalfont Borough – Kenneth Garcia-Ramirez, M/18 of Ambler, PA, was charged with the above offense following a traffic stop for displaying a fraudulent temporary registration. Consent to search the vehicle revealed marijuana under the driver’s seat. Citations have been filed.

Ordinance Violation, September 29, 2023, N. Main and Spruce Streets, Doylestown Borough – Aurora Elizabeth Vida-Coffey, F/20 of Doylestown, PA, was cited for the Marijuana Ordinance Violation following a traffic stop for expired registration. The vehicle presented with an odor of marijuana. Vida-Coffey denied consent to search and handed a bag of marijuana to the Officer. A Citation has been filed.

DUI, September 30, 2023, W. State Street, Doylestown Borough – Tomasi Jozef Ogonowski, M/24 of Pipersville, PA, was arrested for the above offense following a traffic stop for travelling the wrong way on a one-way portion of W. State Street. Ogonowski presented with a strong odor of alcohol, and glassy, bloodshot eyes. Field sobriety tests were administered and Ogonowski was brought to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood draw. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.

Criminal charges, and any discussion thereof, are merely allegations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Criminal Mischief to Vehicle, September 1, 2023, 200 Veterans Lane, Doylestown Borough – Unknown person(s) keyed resident’s vehicle in the parking lot.

Theft, September 2, 2023, 70 Old Dublin Pike, Doylestown Borough – Police are investigating the theft of resident’s outdoor furniture.

Criminal Mischief to Building, September 5, 2023, 186 E. Court Street, Doylestown Borough – Unknown person(s) vandalized a Pride flag.

Criminal Mischief to Auto, September 6, 2023, 74 Park Avenue, Chalfont Borough – Unknown person(s) broke rear window of vehicle and driver’s side door forcibly shoved and broken.

Theft, September 12, 2023, 40 E. Oakland Avenue, Doylestown Borough – A visitor reported theft of pocketbook by unknown person(s) on August 8, 2023.

Theft, September 15, 2023, 625 N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Theft of cooking oil, valued at approximately $100 by unknown person(s).

Criminal Mischief to Building, September 17, 2023, 186 E. Court Street, Doylestown Borough – Unknown person(s) vandalized a rainbow flag hanging from the building.

Criminal Mischief to Auto, September 29, 2023, 355 North Street, Doylestown Borough – Unknown person(s) flattened tires on the vehicle and threw food onto the hood and windshield.
