South Huntingdon Township, PA -- Pennsylvania State Police, in conjunction with the Westmoreland County District Attorney's Office, have filed charges against two men accused of operating a marijuana grow operation in South Huntingdon Township.
Harold Shields, 40, and Kirk Truman, 56, both of Yukon, were charged with various narcotics offenses following the discovery of the grow operation and subsequent search warrant at a residence in August.
State troopers said the men were found to be growing marijuana out of a swimming pool.
A search warrant was executed on the Yukon Avenue residence and investigators seized other drugs and a shotgun from inside.
Both Sheilds and Truman were arraigned in September on drug charges and remain incarcerated in the Westmoreland County Prison.
