On Thursday, September 7, 2023, at 12:31 PM, Lancaster City police officers responded to a reported shooting in the 200 Block of E. Madison St. Our officers were able to identify one victim with no life-threatening injuries. Our department currently has one person of interest in custody, and we do not believe the public is in any danger.
