On July 30, 2023 a resident on the one hundred block of Belmont Avenue reported her Honda CRV stolen sometime during the overnight hours. Several other residents reported that their vehicles were entered on the 100, 200 blocks of Belmont Avenue, and 100 block of Glen Mawr Drive. A stolen vehicle was also recovered on the unit block of Belmont Avenue. This vehicle was reported stolen from Upper Moreland Township. All of the vehicles were processed and evidence was submitted to the Montgomery County Detective Bureau.

On August 25, 2023 the evidence was analyzed and came back to a Timothy Morgan of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 

On August 28, 2023 the Whitemarsh Township Police Department recovered the stolen Honda CRV which was used in a Burglary in their township. Arrested during that incident was Timothy Morgan of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Morgan was currently wanted by several jurisdictions in multiple counties here in Pennsylvania.

Charges were filed against Timothy Morgan to include; (1Ct) Receiving Stolen Property, (1Ct) Theft by Unlawful Taking, (1Ct) Loitering and Prowling at Nighttime, and (3Cts) Theft from Motor Vehicle. He is currently at MCCF awaiting his preliminary hearing.
