Thanks to support from Hyundai and KIA Motors, the East Lansdowne Police are now able to provide qualifying borough residents with a free wheel lock for their vehicle. The criteria for receiving a free wheel lock is simple;

1.) You are a resident of East Lansdowne Borough

2.) You own/lease a Hyundai or Kia motor vehicle which uses a 'KEY FOB' (Not a metal key)

If you meet both of these criteria, please come to the East Lansdowne Police Department, from Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm, and we will provide you with a free wheel lock.
This policy has been established in response to increased vehicle thefts of Hyundai and Kia (key fob access vehicles) having a security flaw allowing for the vehicle locks to be defeated.
