Many Lancaster County Law Enforcement Agencies Hosting National Night Out Events Tonight

Police departments, fire personnel, EMS, and various first responders will be hosting and attending events throughout Lancaster County tonight as part of National Night Out, an annual community-building campaign held on the first Tuesday of August each year since its inception in 1984.

The campaign promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live, enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement, fosters a sense of community, and brings police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.

Our office will have representatives, information and applications for our Youth Aid Panel at various events throughout the county; we are always looking for motivated volunteers for YAP!
