The Harrisburg Police have recently received an increase in notifications pertaining to residents receiving phone calls from people alleging to be Harrisburg Police Officers. The callers are advising the residents that they have warrants and are to go to a certain location(s) to address the alleged warrants. These calls are scams and are not from officers with the Harrisburg Bureau of Police. If you receive a similar phone call, please do not engage in any dialog with the caller and immediately terminate the call.
