We were honored to have Alex Mann visit our department this morning and to be his 385th visit during his 4 plus year journey.
Alex, age 23 of Chester County, Pa lives with autism and you would never know it. Alex has made a goal of his to visit and support law enforcement, to explain his journey with autism and to make law enforcement more aware.
Alex was presented his own uniform shirt, toured police headquarters, gave an informal presentation to officers on autism awareness, observed patrol units, became friends with K9 TITUS and even was able to take a patrol unit for a short ride. At the conclusion he spent some time speaking with Chief Barndt before heading home to prepare for his next visits.
ALEX- WE HAD A GREAT TIME, THANK YOU, GREAT JOB and WE WISH YOU THE BEST!
