On June 3, 2023, at or about 12:40 AM, the Plumstead Township Police responded to the Meineke Mufflers, 815 N Easton Road for an audible alarm. Once officers arrived on scene, they located a front broken window. Further investigation revealed an unknown black male wearing all black clothing broke the window with a large landscape rock before entering the building. The male rummaged around the office and shop area, before fleeing the area prior to the responding officers arrival. Minutes before the burglary, the same male is seen loitering around the adjacent shopping centers. It was later learned that the same suspect was responsible for a theft and criminal mischief from a local candy shop on State Street in Doylestown Borough approximately three hours later. Central Bucks Regional Police is investigating that incident. 

The Plumstead Township Police Department is asking the public's assistance with identifying this male. We are also asking that all businesses along the N. Easton Road( N Main Street) corridor between State Street and Swamp Road (Rt 313) who have any video surveillance, could they check their systems for this male either walking or loitering around the area between 12:20 AM and 3:30 AM.
