On Sunday June 11, 2023 at 5:15 a.m. police responded to the Luzerne County 911 Center for the report of someone broke through the gate.. Police responded to the location and 35 year old Uriah Seth Thomas was taken into custody. Thomas was charges with Criminal Mischief, Interruption or impairment of public communication for causing the center to go into lockdown for a period of time. Thomas was arraigned by District Magistrate Michael Dotzel, Wilkes-Barre Township. Bail was set at $15,000 straight. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10:15 a.m. Wednesday June 21, 2023 at the Luzerne County Central Court, Wilkes-Barre. Thomas was wanted by the Luzerne County Sheriff's Office for a failure to appear from a July 21, 2021 PFA violation. Thomas was transported to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility.
