On Wednesday November 10th, six Swatara Township Police officers and one civilian were recognized at the Board of Commissioner's meeting for actions taken during the course of two separate incidents:

• Sgt. Milsteen, Ofc. Neve, Ofc. Hulstine, and Ofc. Jones received the Swatara Township Police Life Saving Award as a result of actions taken during their response to a head-on collision and vehicle fire on North Harrisburg Street on October 2nd. Civilian Gregory Radosevic was also recognized with the Swatara Township Police Civilian Support Award for offering selfless assistance to the Police Officers and involved parties at the scene.
• Ofc. Wilt and Ofc. DeGroat received the Swatara Township Police Life Saving Award as a result of actions taken during their response to a stabbing investigation on September 10th.
