On 08-21-2020 at approx 0740hrs MPD executed a search warrant on a house in the 100 block of Adelia Street. The target of the investigation was a Melvin Farmer. Farmer was at the residence at the time of the search warrant. The search warrant resulted in crack cocaine and heroin being recovered in the house. Additionally, there was drug paraphernalia found in the house. Farmer was arrested and was to be transported to the Dauphin County Booking Center, but while enroute he suffered from a medical emergency due to ingesting numerous bags of heroin so police would not recover them at the time of the search warrant. He was transported to a local hospital and his charges will be filed via summons.
