On Tuesday May 26, 2020 at approximately 0300 hours, Officers of the Ambler Borough Police Department located a suspicious vehicle in the 400 block of Mt. Pleasant Ave. As a result of their investigation, officers discovered that the vehicle was reported stolen out of West Norriton Township, Montgomery County Pennsylvania. The driver was identified as Andre Morris of Ambler, PA. Morris was taken into custody and arraigned before Judge Lukens. Morris is charged with Receiving Stolen Property, Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle and Summary Traffic Violations. Morris was unable to post bail and is currently incarcerated at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility.
