On April 26, 2026, at approximately 5:42 am, officers responded to Renaissance Senior Living, located at 2222 Sullivan Trail, for an unconscious male. The male was determined to have been overdosing on drugs. Officers located heroin, methamphetamine, and several items of drug paraphernalia on scene. The male was identified as David Merring. After consulting with the Northampton County District Attorney's Office, an arrest warrant was issued for multiple drug-related charges.
