On September 29, 2026, officers responded to ACR Products, located at 555 Uhler Road, for a fraud report. The company reported that they fulfilled an order for two industrial power washers for J&J Restoration. The power washers were delivered to the purchaser, who provided two personal checks to ACR Products, in the amounts of $8,608.33 and $11,659.12. The checks were deposited and, at a later date, the total amount for both checks were removed from the account due to the account owner initiating a "stop payment". ACR Products attempted to contact the business owner, Jose Juarbe, via certified mail without success.
Forks Township CID began investigating and determined that Juarbe had a history of passing bad checks in a similar manner and was previously charged for a similar offense by another jurisdiction. As a result of this incident, an arrest warrant was issued for Juarbe, who is currently lodged in a state prison.
