On June 2, 2026, at approximately 2:06 pm, Forks Township Police responded to 1600 Uhler Road, SMR Trucking, for a theft of a tractor trailer. The business owner reported that one of the drivers employed from California was supposed to relinquish possession of the truck to another driver upon completion of a delivery, however, did not do so and instead, maintained possession of the truck. The driver was identified as Le Damien Flowers. Police contacted Flowers by phone, who was not receptive to the officer, stated police couldn't arrest him, and hung up. The victim provided real-time GPS location of the truck, which was forwarded to California Highway Patrol. The truck was recovered. The Northampton County District Attorney's Office approved charges of (1 count) Theft by Unlawful Taking (F3) and (1 count) Unauthorized Use of Automobiles (M2). An arrest warrant was issued by Judge Hutnik on June 12, 2026.
