On Thursday, October 29, 2026 at 5:00pm, Upper Merion Police, Fire, and EMS responded to the Valley Forge Towers front circle for the report of a pedestrian accident.  There were two patients, both of whom were transported to local trauma hospitals for treatment. One of the patients ultimately succumbed to the injuries sustained.  The vehicle driver was on scene and cooperative with investigators. The Upper Merion Township Police Department Traffic Safety Unit is conducting a full investigation, which is still underway, and no further information will be released at this time.  Our thoughts are with the loved ones of those involved.
