The Pocono Township Police Department is attempting to identify the operator of vehicle that fled from police on 10/19/2026. 

On October 19th, 2026, an officer observed a UTV travelling east on Sullivan Trail near Rt 715. The UTV then ran a steady red traffic signal and fled from police. Officers pursued the UTV through Jackson Township and onto Hypsie Gap Rd until the UTV managed to navigate past a gated road leading into the Long Pond Conservation Easement and State Game Lands. The UTV was then last seen in the area of Fall Creek Terrace and Overlook Terrace in Jackson Township after exiting the State Game Lands via a powerline trail. 

During the pursuit, officers observed that the operator was a white male with dark brown hair. Additionally, there were at least 2 other passengers in the UTV at the time. Following the pursuit, officers were able to identify that the UTV as a dark colored Polaris RZR pro with an aftermarket lift kit.
