Fall is in full swing. Football season dominates from the Friday night lights through late Sunday. Families are prepping for Trick or Treat, Trunk or Treat, and other fall events. Everyone is outside soaking it up before the days become much shorter and colder.
This also means that it is October and this month is recognized as BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH. Regardless of a cancer diagnosis being breast cancer, or another type, we venture to think that cancer has touched and affective all of us either directly or through a loved one.
We pray for everyone battling this dreadful disease and we ask everyone to take a moment, if at all possible, and donate to an organization of your choice. It doesn’t matter if it’s the Jimmy V Foundation, St. Jude’s, Race for the Cure, or countless others. All are worthy causes and in need of funding to continue this fight that touches all of us.
We are thankful for our communities and for all who took the time to read this post.
