Early this morning. October 10, 2026, two PHILADELPHIA POLICE DEPARTMENT OFFICERS were each shot multiple times while responding to a dispatched incident.  At this time, both officers are reportedly in surgery.

The women and men of the PARKESBURG BOROUGH POLICE DEPARTMENT are sending our prayers and support to these two officers, their families, and to the PHILADELPHIA POLICE DEPARTMENT.
